Construction Progress and Library Updates


Heavy machinery, cement and lots of hammering are cause for celebration as the long awaited renovation gets underway.Patrick and his crew are on the site bright and early each morning. The Trustees are busy selecting windows, signage, paint and commemorative bricks and what was once just an idea is now becoming an exciting reality. Come by and view the progress!

Every Tuesday, the town, library and construction representatives meet to discuss the renovation progress. We  post the minutes after they are approved and they are also available on the Royalton town website

Important information for patrons during construction

During construction, the library will be open our usual operating hours:
Tuesday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.Some programs may be paused or held at a different location during library construction.Stay tuned for information about the Summer Reading Program – dates and location TBDPlease note: No LEGO club will be held in June.Betty LaWhite will continue free basic-skills computer tutoring for the community, before, during and after library hours.
