Design Your Own Stickers!

Sticker Making! – submit your designs by August 8!

You create the design and we will do the printing.

Here’s how: draw a shape (circle, square or oval) on a piece of paper and draw your design inside the shape. You can also download shape templates.

Return your designs to the library by August 8.  You can drop your designs into the designs library’s book drop slot or mail them to the library at: Royalton Memorial Library, PO Box 179, South Royalton, VT 05068,

The library will create stickers from your designs and present the stickers to each participant at the end of the summer reading program.  Stickers will be shared with all participants so be sure to sign your designs.

The sky’s the limit!

The sky’s the limit when it comes to your design. Use any drawing materials you want: colored pencils, markers, pastels, crayons.

First step, pick your shape.  You can choose to draw your design using either the circle template, oval template or square template in your activity pack. You will find several extra blank templates in your activity pack; the extras are for you to experiment and practice.  For this activity, you are invited to submit one design for printing.

Here are a few ideas to help get you started:

  • Draw a self-portrait, or portraits of your friends, family or pets.
  • Cut out neat pictures and words from magazines and newspapers and glue them onto the template.
  • Print out pictures you find online, or pictures you’ve uploaded to your computer. Print them on thin computer paper.  Do not use photo paper.
  • Make pictures using rubber stamps.

Keep your design within the lines of your template.  Stickers are often seen from a distance so consider using bold and bright colors.
