Let’s Make a Book with Joyce Amsden

Wednesday, July 24, 10-11:30 am
Let’s Make Our Own Book
For this awesome event, local author Joyce Amsden will share how she created her new picture book. We will be the authors and artists, creating our own stories in pictures and words. Joyce will collect and assemble our stories and send them off to be printed in our very own “A Universe of Stories” book. At the end of the summer reading program, each author will receive a print copy of our book.

Note: Due to library construction the program will be held at BALE (Building a Local Economy), 35 South Windsor Street, South Royalton.

Joyce Amsden is an artist, writer, photographer, and life coach who lives just outside of South Royalton in Sharon, VT. The things she loves best are wandering the woods with her camera, drawing, gardening, tending her honey bees and playing with her nanalings. She loves to make up stories about the things she observes and to share them or set them down in words, photos and drawings. www.joyceamsden.com
