Listen Up! Vermont, also known as LUV, provides free downloadable audio books and eBooks which patrons can access at any time, and from anywhere. LUV works with PCs, Mac’s and mobile devices. Currently the collection has approximately: 3,167 audiobooks and 5,007 eBooks which is constantly growing and changing. Over the last year 65,728 audiobooks and 72,552 eBooks were circulated!

LUV was the inaugural project of the Green Mountain Library Consortium. This project initially joined together over 80 public and school libraries in Vermont to provide downloadable audio book service through an application called OverDrive. Today there are 145 libraries in the state using the service including Royalton Memorial Library.

Any patron from a member library may access the collection at http://www.listenupvermont.org. Librarians, staff, and trustees of participating libraries may like to keep up with the project by visiting the Listen Up! Vermont blog at http://vtaudiobooks.blogspot.com/.
