The Royalton Memorial Library turns the page to a new chapter.
The long awaited library construction/renovation project officially begins this spring. Contracts have been signed, paperwork filed and groundbreaking is scheduled to take place April 29, 2019. The renovation project will preserve and restore the historic aspects of the town’s public library and provide much needed handicapped access as well as additional space for books, media, juvenile and adult programs, and a place for the community to gather and hold events.
The library programs continue until April 29, when construction begins. Ongoing programs Storytime and craft with Ms. Paula and Ms. Jenn every Thursday at 10 a.m. Â Free and open to the public.
Film Series: Oscar’s Best Picture Nominees to be screened on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m.  Join us on Thursday April 18 at 7 p.m. to view one of the nominees for Best Picture in 2019. The screenings will be held every Thursday at 7 p.m. through April 25th. Please note: No Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) game night on Sunday, April 21.
Most library events and programs will be paused during the initial construction phase from April 29th through the end of May. Please check the library website or the library Facebook page for updates, schedules and further announcements.
The library will not be accepting book donations until the library construction is completed.
